Morgan Williams Youth Advocate Program Inc. has been building meaningful relationships and providing direct support to young people across Rochester since 2013. We walk alongside youth regardless of zip code, trauma history, or circumstance-offering mentorship, education, and advocacy that help them thrive and step into leadership. We measure what changes in the lives of the young people we serve.

How our programs are built

Community-centered, youth-led, rooted in evidence.

Young people thrive when adults listen first and decide second. Too often, programs are designed in boardrooms and dropped into neighborhoods without the people they're meant to serve at the table. The organizations doing the deepest work spend time building trust before building programs.

Our programs start with young people and their communities. We co-design every initiative with the youth and families we serve. We measure what matters-not just what's easy to count. We've been doing this work for about 13 years, long enough to know that real change takes time, flexibility, and genuine partnership. General operating support allows us to respond to what our young people actually need, not just what a grant requires.

Education7-year commitment

The Rising Scholars Initiative

A college access and persistence program serving first-generation students toward college readiness and completion. Students join in 10th grade and stay supported through their second year of college.

One-on-one advising from a coach who stays with them for seven years

Morgan Williams Youth Advocate Program INC. is not a direct service provider. We do not run programs ourselves or deliver services directly. Every initiative we support exists because community partners are doing the vital work on the ground. Our role is to advocate alongside young people, connect them with resources, and amplify the impact of our partners who serve Rochester's youth.
